Full-Time Kitchen Porter
Are you passionate about maintaining a pristine kitchen environment and supporting a dynamic culinary team? We’re seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to become an integral part of our fresh food-led kitchen.
Position: Full-Time Kitchen Porter
Hours: 40+ hours per week
Location: The Blue Bell Inn , Emsworth
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure all kitchen areas, including equipment, surfaces, and floors, are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards.
- Dishwashing: Efficiently manage the cleaning of dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, either manually or using industrial dishwashing equipment.
- Basic Food Preparation: Assist chefs with tasks such as washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables, and other preliminary food preparation activities.
- Stock Management: Receive deliveries, organize stock rooms, and ensure proper stock rotation to maintain freshness and quality.
- Adhere to Hygiene Standards: Follow all health and safety regulations, ensuring the kitchen meets food safety and hygiene standards.

Position: Head Chef
Hours: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Development: Create and deliver exciting seasonal menus that showcase the best of fresh, local ingredients, with a focus on seafood.
- Kitchen Leadership: Manage and inspire a team, ensuring smooth service and a high standard of food quality.
- Stock & Supplier Management: Work with trusted suppliers to source the best ingredients, control stock levels, and manage food costs effectively.
- Hygiene & Safety: Maintain the highest levels of kitchen hygiene, following all food safety regulations and ensuring compliance with HACCP procedures.
- Efficiency & Quality: Oversee prep and service to ensure dishes are consistently high quality and efficiently delivered.
