Just a few doors down from us in Emsworth, M.R. Starr has been a local staple for decades. Mick Starr bought the business in 1988, building a reputation for quality produce, friendly service and a real connection to local suppliers. These days, the next generation, Paul and Neil Starr, are proudly carrying that torch, continuing the family’s commitment to traditional butchery with a modern eye for provenance and flavour.

We recently had the pleasure of meeting Maya – an incredible adventurer who’s taking on the entire English coastal path in aid of Hospitality Action.
