We’re raising a glass to some brilliant news – The Blue Bell Inn has been featured in the Good Beer Guide 2026!
For those who might not know, the Good Beer Guide is the definitive handbook for anyone who loves a proper pint. Compiled by CAMRA (the Campaign for Real Ale), it celebrates the very best pubs across the UK serving top-quality real ale — all chosen entirely by CAMRA members. No sponsors, no gimmicks — just good beer, good pubs and honest recommendations.
Now in its 53rd edition, this year’s guide features pubs and breweries from across the country, showcasing the UK’s thriving beer scene. The foreword comes from comedian and beer lover Ed Byrne, famous for his #preshowpints posts on social media, where he shares the best boozers he visits before hitting the stage.
To be included in a guide that’s completely independent and held in such high regard is a huge honour for us. It means the world to know that our pints, atmosphere and community spirit are recognised among the country’s finest.
A massive thank you goes out to our brilliant team, our loyal locals and everyone who’s raised a glass with us over the years – you’re the reason The Blue Bell continues to thrive.
So come on down, grab a pint of something proper, and celebrate this one with us. Our three hand-pulls showcase an ever-changing selection of superb, locally sourced ales from across Hampshire and West Sussex, alongside a few guest brews from further afield. Whether you’re a local regular or just passing through, you’ll always find a great pint waiting for you here.
Here’s to great beer, great company, and great times at The Blue Bell.
