Emsworth started the game strong with an early goal by Micheal Cunningham running through on goal and slotting it home. Shortly followed by a couple more goals by Mauro Morais to make it 3-0. Ruston running through on goal and finding the net before the flag was raised for a very controversial offside call. Soon after a lovely bit of skill by Cunningham on the right side and delivered into Marc Noble who catches it perfectly on the volley to put Town 4 up.

Emsworth running riot and wins a free kick which was taken by captain Jake Lynch, a great strike converted the free kick into Emsworth’s 5th of the day. Our Portuguese goal machine Mauro Morais wasn’t finished though as he adds 3 more which puts his season goal talley up to 29. At Half time Emsworth make 4 changes and struggled to find the same ruthlessness as the first half, only managing to add one more goal to the score line with a fine finish from Tommy Hedgcock with the match ending a very comfortable 9-0 win to the Oystermen after crazy first half.

3 points to the boys in black and white and we look on to our big Hampshire Cup quarter-final away to Southwood Royals
